Per sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices sourdough or rye bread
  • 30 ml butter
  • 60 ml GOLDCREST Onion and Black Garlic Relish
  • Rocket leaves
  •  2 – 3 slices rare roast beef
  • 4 slices avocado
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 60 ml grated mature Cheddar

Method:

  1. Butter both slices of bread. 
  2. Spread 1 slice generously with relish. 
  3. Top with rocket, rare roast beef, tomato and cheese.
  4. Place the other slice on top. 
  5. Serve immediately.

Variation:

Use sliced Camembert or Brie instead of Cheddar and replace the beef with smoked ham. 

Serving suggestions – all relishes

Serve as a dipping sauce with spring rolls, crumbed chicken strips and cocktail sausage rolls.

A delicious addition to any cheese platter.

Serve over hotdogs or drizzle over your favourite hamburger.
