Fillet:
- 800 g rump or sirloin at room temperature
- 60 ml GOLDCREST Honey
- 30 ml wholegrain mustard
- 30 ml olive oil
- 2.5 ml smoked chilli flakes
- Salt to taste
Sauce:
- 60 ml GOLDCREST Pure Honey
- 45 ml soy sauce
- 45 ml lime juice
- 30 ml olive oil
- 15 ml Hot English mustard
- 2.5 ml smoked chilli flakes
Method:
- Mix the honey, mustard, olive oil and chilli flakes together.
- Brush over the steak. Heat a griddle pan until very hot.
- Fry the steak for 2 – 4 minutes per side – depending on how you like your steak done.
- Leave to rest for 5 minutes.
- Cut into slices.
- Season with salt to taste.
- Mix the ingredients for the sauce together and pour over the steak.
- Serve with a green salad or steamed vegetables of your choice.
